What i learnt in science

Today in science i learnt about the human body and what happens to food when you eat it. i also learnt about teeth large intestine small intestines and the acids that breaks down food.

How humans digest their food	Name the parts of the human digestion system including each type of tooth. Incisors your front eight teeth, Canines are the two teeth behind the Incisors to tear the meat, Premolars are the teeth behind the canines, Molars are the rest of your teeth that grind down food.
	Describe the four steps of the digestion process from ingestion to egestion. Ingestion taking in food, Digestion breaking down food, Absorption taking in food, Egestion getting rid of waste.
	Describe what happens to the food in each part of the digestive system. Mouth - Pharynx - oesophagus stomach contracts acid [Pepsin] Hydrochloric acid. Peristalsis movement of stomach juices. Tracy is now reduced to chyme a thin sloppy juice. Small intestine absorption. Tracy is also being mixed with other things from the human body like, pancreatic juice made by the pancreas and contains enzymes bile produced by the liver and intestinal juice which contains peptidase and maltase. Large intestine absorption.Rectum Anus.
